Producer / Assistant Director
Victoria Britton is an award-winning Producer, Director, and 1st AD committed to telling personal stories that unpack themes of grief, spirituality, and womanhood. In 2021, she co-produced the feature-length romantic comedy It Happened One Weekend (Dir. Zac Cooper) which was the winner of both the “Best of Hoosier Lens Award” and the “Audience Award for Narrative Feature” at the 2022 Indy Film Fest. Victoria co-produced Andrew Cohn’s documentary short Destination Park — an intimate look at a camp of destitute truck drivers who confide in the chaplain of a mobile church — which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and found a home online with The Atlantic. In addition, her work has screened at Hollyshorts, Indy Shorts, and Heartland film festivals — and has been released via Investigation Discovery.
After graduating from Butler University in Indianapolis, she spent five years as a News Producer for the leading CBS affiliate in Northeast Indiana, where she honed her ability to uncover powerful, authentic stories. She is a volunteer pre-screener for Indy Shorts and leads Filmmaker Hospitality efforts at Hobnobben Film Festival in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. In her free time, she loves distance running and hopes to one day run the Boston Marathon. She lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her husband in their 120-year-old fixer-upper.
